Jehan Waeytens

Jehan Waeytens (Scientific Advisor) obtained his bachelor degree in Chemistry at Institut Paul Lambin in 2011. He worked 5 years at ExxonMobil in the Advanced characterization group (mainly on SEM, FTIR and NMR). He then obtained a master degree in Chemistry at ULB with a master thesis on nano-spectroscopy for polymer. He completed his Ph.D on the infrared nanospectroscopie on amyloid beta peptide in 2022.

In 2023, Jehan joined the RD3-PBM group at the Faculty of Pharmacy (ULB) as assistant professor to continue his research on infrared nanospectropy in protein aggregation and to teach general chemistry.
